SBI Clerk Selection Process
The SBI Clerk selection process consists of three important stages: Preliminary Exam, Main Exams & Local Language Test. The Preliminary Exam is an online test and carries a weightage of 100 marks. It is divided into three sections and comprises of English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Numerical Ability. The duration of the prelims is 1 hour. Qualifying candidates in the prelim exam would be shortlisted for the Mains.
The exam format of Mains is also online and is of 200 marks. Candidates would be tested on four sections, namely, General/ Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, General English, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 40 minutes. After qualifying these stages, candidates need to sit for the Local Language test before their recruitment. SBI Clerk Results
The results of the SBI Clerk are likely to be announced in January 2021 by the State Bank of India on its official website. It will be available online. The result would show the qualifying status of the candidates. Individual merit lists will be uploaded by the concerned authority after each of these two stages, Preliminary and Mains.
Moreover, SBI also provides the aspirants with the present cut-offs, as well as the previous year’s cut, offs for both these stages. For more clarity, candidates can also search for the sectional cut-offs for both Prelims and Mains on its official website itself. Candidates would only be eligible to qualify for the examination if they could satisfy the cut-off set by the SBI.
