LIC or Life Insurance Corporation is a statutory corporation which came into existence on 1st September 1956. LIC headquarter is in Mumbai and it is the largest insurance company in India.
LIC will release the official notification to fill vacancies for LIC Assistant in their respective zones soon. LIC Assistant Exam consists of two stages- preliminary and mains with different time allocation for each section. There will be section- wise and overall cutoff.Marks obtained in the Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability will decide a candidate call for the mains provided he/she obtained a minimum qualifying marks in the English Language /Hindi Language. There will be no interview.
LIC Assistant preliminary is the first stage for further selection procedure. heLIC Assistant prelims consist of three sections-English Language/Hindi Language,Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.Each section have a specified time limit with certain number of question.Further details are given in the table-

To be eligible for filling the LIC Assistant Exam form, candidate is required to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized university. For filling LIC Assistant 2022 a candidate should be a citizen of India and should not be less than 18 years and more than 30 years as on the mentioned date. LIC provides an additional age relaxation facility to some reserved categories. The relaxation is on the upper age limit of the candidates. A candidate appointed as LIC Assistant will have a basic pay starting from Rs 14435.The total gross emoluments approximately amount to Rs 30,000.Besides this other perks like house rent allowance,city allowance ,medical benefits etc are applicable.
LIC Assistant Pay Scale: 11435-840(1) -15275 – 915(2) – 17105 – 1030(5) – 22255 – 1195(2) – 24645 – 1455(3) – 29010 -1510(2) – 32030– 1610(5) – 40080.
Basic Pay: Rupees 14435/- per month
Gross Monthly emoluments: Rupees 30,000 approx
Along with this an LIC Assistant is eligible to various other allowances such as House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance(CCA), Dearness Allowance(DA), Lunch allowance, Insurance Allowance and Defined Contributory pension, Gratuity, LTC.

LIC Assistant Mains is the second stage which will be held in online mode.It consist of specified number of questions for different sections with separate sectional timings.Candidates need to qualify in each section. All the section are same but it is mentioned in the official notification that English Language is for East,South and South Central zones and English and Hindi Language for North,West,Central,East Central and North Central zones.
